Oven Method:

Spread a thin layer of tomato sauce on the bottom of a 9×13-inch baking dish.

Arrange the cabbage rolls seam-side down in the dish.

Cover tightly with foil and bake at 350°F (175°C) for 1½ to 2 hours, until cabbage and rice are tender.
Stovetop Method:

Layer the rolls in a large pot.

Pour the sauce over the top and bring to a simmer.

Cover and cook on low heat for 1½ hours, until tender.
6. Serve

Spoon extra sauce over the cabbage rolls before serving.

Garnish with fresh parsley or a dollop of sour cream if desired.
