Stuffed Cabbage Rolls

Oven Method:

  1. Spread a thin layer of tomato sauce on the bottom of a 9×13-inch baking dish.

  2. Arrange the cabbage rolls seam-side down in the dish.

  3. Pour the remaining sauce over the rolls.

  4. Cover tightly with foil and bake at 350°F (175°C) for 1½ to 2 hours, until cabbage and rice are tender.

Stovetop Method:

  1. Layer the rolls in a large pot.

  2. Pour the sauce over the top and bring to a simmer.

  3. Cover and cook on low heat for 1½ hours, until tender.


6. Serve

  • Spoon extra sauce over the cabbage rolls before serving.

  • Garnish with fresh parsley or a dollop of sour cream if desired.
