Today I discovered that scaling fish only requires a simple plastic bag—no flying scales, no dirty hands, just a clean and quick process.

 

Step 1:   Place the fish in the bag. Make sure it’s large enough for you to comfortably move your hands around.

Step 2:   Hold the fish with one hand through the bag wall. With the other hand, gently scrape off the scales. Use:

  • the back of a knife,
  • an ordinary spoon,
