3️⃣ Season the Fries

  • In a large mixing bowl, combine:

    • 3 tablespoons olive oil

    • 2 tablespoons minced garlic

    • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

    • Salt and black pepper to taste

  • Add the sliced potatoes to the bowl.

  • Toss thoroughly using your hands or a spatula, making sure every piece is evenly coated with the oil and seasonings.

4️⃣ Bake the Fries – Part 1

  • Carefully remove the hot baking sheet from the oven.

  • Spread the fries in a single layer, leaving space between each fry to promote crisping.

  • Do not overcrowd; use two sheets if necessary.

  • Bake for 30 minutes, flipping the fries halfway through (at 15 minutes) using a spatula or tongs.

  • Turning helps brown both sides evenly.
