A brave group of firefighters saved a lifeless dog from a devastating fire, performing mouth-to-snout resuscitation to bring the animal back to life after it was pulled from the flames.

With flames quickly spreading and time running out, Firefighter Andrew Klein rushed into the smoke-filled building. What he found inside was heartbreaking — Nalu lay motionless, unresponsive, and barely breathing. Without hesitation, Klein dropped to his knees and began performing mouth-to-snout CPR, determined not to let the young dog die.

For several agonizing minutes, he worked methodically, alternating between chest compressions and breaths, all while surrounded by chaos. The building burned around him, but Klein’s focus never wavered.

Even as Nalu remained still and lifeless, Klein refused to give up. After nearly 20 minutes of effort — just when it seemed there was no hope — a miracle happened. The puppy began to stir, his small chest rising as he took a faint, precious breath.

The firefighter’s persistence had paid off.
